Building on Sprint 1, in Fall 2019 MAD Studio I: Immersive and Experimental Narratives Studio, we were asked to take another approach towards creating a more linear narrative experience on the same topic. In this project, we were challenged to highlight an alternative dimension, truth, reality, and/or perspective that we took in the first project. Our animated narrative would tell a “story” of a body of text. The project’s forms could take place as traditional, linear animation, experimental animation, projected animation (interacting with physical environment} interaction animation/storybook. We were to explore some intersection of digital and physical animation/and or animated experiences. Examples include: stop motion, pictures, video, physical objects, projection with digital animation such as 2d, 3d animation, digital motion, computational visualization as well as ambient/spatial audio.
